Bobbie Gray is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, New Zealand whose work spans sculpture, painting, installation, curation, project development and moving image. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design in 2017.
Bobbie has exhibited internationally, with career highlights including the projection of her video installation, Digital Garden, onto the walls of historic Coventry Cathedral in the UK, as well as at the World Heritage and UNESCO site, The Medina of Tunis in Tunisia. Bobbie's video series, Resident Alien, was also chosen to feature in a touring exhibition in Iran. Bobbie’s moving image work Upward Fall, is included in the prestigious Wallace Arts Trust collection.
Additionally, Bobbie founded Comet Project Space which operates as a pop-up gallery and platform for community activations and collaborative projects in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
