Mark Graver RE (b.1964) is an award-winning artist printmaker based in Kerikeri New Zealand. Originally from the United Kingdom he studied at Leeds Polytechnic (B.A. Hons Fine Art 1985-88) and Camberwell College of Arts, London (MA Printmaking 1994-95)
He moved to New Zealand in 2003 and in 2005 opened the Wharepuke Print Studio (NZ's only dedicated Non-Toxic Acrylic Resist Etching workshop) then in 2009 Art at Wharepuke Gallery here at Wharepuke Subtropical Garden of National Significance
Garver is author of Non-Toxic Printmaking (2011, London, A&C Black), has sat on printmaking selection and judging panels in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, China, Bulgaria and Australia and organised print projects, non-toxic etching workshops, exhibitions and symposiums in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.
He is an elected Full Fellow of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, London (RE) - one of only 100 in the world . He is an Honorary Life Member of the Print Council Aotearoa New Zealand (PCANZ) and a committee member of Prism Print International.
