These prints hold poetry and memory close to their hearts. The colours are bright and joyful and the messages contained within both works speak to the human condition. 'There Are People', 2023, is about witnessing the essence or ahua of the people in our lives and I’ve used these metaphors to describe people. I am a person who dreams and there are some people who are and have been deep oceans and strong rivers in my life. There is also a great repetition within this work; I really wanted you to think about mountains and rivers and forests and oceans.
