In this series of paintings of pale icebergs, I am reflecting on physicist Carlo Rovelli's thesis on time and the nature of the world. Rovelli posits that "The world is not a collection of things, it is a collection of events". Impermanence and entropy, not stasis, are ubiquitous. Events and processes have a limited duration making the world more like a network of kisses, brief and fleeting, than of stone.
