A work on paper, Sick Rose is a monochromatic abstract drawing that explores the possibilities of line, ink and graphite. Layer upon layer of ink and graphite have been built up to create a distorted rose form that materialises in the centre of the work. From different perspectives, the form shifts and dissolves.
